Field Rules
Allowed
- Permitted Types of Practice / Play ONLY – Be Safe
- Only Molded Plastic/Rubber Field Cleats or Short Plastic Cleats (All footwear subject to Inspection and Approval by SR Staff)
- Only Water is allowed on the Field
Not Allowed - Protect Field, Cleanliness and Athletes
- No METAL Cleats or Long Turf Cleats (Cleats must be 3/8” or shorter even if plastic, and free of dirt)
- No Spitting or Nose Clearing
- No Food of ANY kind
- No Gum, Seeds, Peanuts, Candy
- No Gatorade sports drinks, sodas, juices or other beverages
- No Tobacco Products of Any Kind, No Alcohol, No Drugs, and No Vaping (anywhere in SR)
- No Chairs, Sharps Objects, or High Heeled Shoes
- No Jewelry and No Belts/Clothing with Sharp Edges
- No Pets or Animals
- No pulling on barrier nets/frames or batting cages
- No ball throwing or warm up activity outside of designated field or athletic areas.
Weight Room Rules
For Safety:
- No children, all teens and adolescents must be supervised by Sports Reality staff
- Obtain a medical exam before beginning any exercise program
- Before use, understand proper lifting and exercise techniques and obtain instruction regarding any lift, exercise or use of a weight machine - follow all instructions
- Read and obey warning labels on weight machines
- Use spotters for free weight exercises
- Use chalk where appropriate for better grip
- No cleats or jewelry allowed -- proper footwear and exercise attire required
- Return weights to racks and storage areas after use - do not leave on floors
- No running or horseplay
- Sports Reality staff only operates roll up door
- If you feel faint, sick or injured - stop exercise and ask for assistance
- If you have any questions or uncertainty ask the sta for help
- Sports Reality staff controls music choice and/or suitability and thermostats
- Tendo units may only be used under direction/supervision by Sports Reality staff
- Do not take weight plates, bars, dumbbells or other equipment out of the weight room
For Cleanliness:
- Wipe down surfaces after use to remove perspiration and chalk
- Avoid dropping excess chalk on floors and surfaces
- No food, drinks, gum, candy, seeds or tobacco products in the weight room
Batting Cage Rules
Notice
Sports Reality assumes no liability associated with the batting/ practice cage- use is at participant’s own risk and requires compliance with all Sports Reality facility, field and cage rules.
Requirements
- Facility and cage liability waivers must be signed by participants and where necessary their guardians/ parents prior to use.
- Participants must wear adequate protective gear appropriate for their sport including batting helmets for baseball or softball.
- Pitchers must always use a protective pitching screen for safety.
- For baseball or softball, only 1 pitcher and 1 hitter at a time are allowed in the cage- all other individuals must remain 10 feet back from the cage netting.
- For sports besides baseball or softball, use of the cage and protective measures must be approved in advance by Sports Reality staff.
- Coaches with athletes using the cage must supervise other athletes under their direction that are elsewhere in the facility.
- Batting practice/ swinging of bats must only take place in the cage.
- Balls should be picked up and returned to the pitcher after each batter.
Not Allowed
- Footwear not in compliance with Sports Reality field rules.
- Cleaning of footwear inside the cage.
- Batting practice outside the cage.
- Use of cage by anyone under the influence of medication, drugs, or alcohol
